Blue Ribbon Events

The Victorian Formula 500 Association’s Blue-Ribbon Events represent the highest level of Formula 500 racing in the state, created to spotlight the sport’s top talent while building lasting partnerships with leading Victorian speedways.

These events offer larger prize pools, greater prestige, and have a stronger impact on the season’s championship standings.

Alongside Speedweek, they form the foundation of the Formula 500 calendar, attracting elite drivers and delivering some of the most competitive racing of the year.

Each event is carefully aligned with tracks that share the Association’s long-term vision for growth and excellence in motorsport. The goal is to develop these meetings into “crown jewel” races—signature events that become must-attend dates for fans, teams, and media alike. With high stakes and elevated visibility, Blue Ribbon rounds help elevate both the sport and the venues that host them.

Offering more prize money than any other single-night events on the calendar, Blue Ribbon rounds carry significant weight in the aggregate points battle, motivating top-tier drivers to compete at their best. Their continued growth reflects the Association’s commitment to building a stronger, more professional platform for Formula 500 racing, helping shape the future of the sport in Victoria and beyond.
